Hi, we are a father and son team living in the North East of England by the coast of Redcar, Teesside, where the busyness of industry and the coast meet the tranquil serenity of rural countryside and provide us with a wealth of interesting subject matter.
The wonders of photography have enabled us to look at the world differently and through our photographs, we hope to display a wide variety of subjects. We are not “frightened” to experiment with post processing techniques if an image warrants it, but also appreciate the need for “straight from the camera” ability. In the world of digital imagery it is continuous development and improvement of skills in all aspects.

2010 brought about big changes for me. I joined the ranks of the unemployed being made redundant from the local Wilton International Chemical Complex.The situation gave me an opportunity to retire early after 37 years and spend more time on my photography.
Son - Alex Smith
I'm currently employed with the NHS as an ICT Support Technician where I have worked for 8 years, despite not having much free time to devote to it, photography is my nirvana and a sure fire form of relaxation. I like nothing more than disappearing for a walk with my camera.
